Malaysian Chamber of Commerce Find out Investment Potentiality in Phnom Penh


Malaysian Chamber of Commerce paid a courtesy call to Deputy Governor Mr. NOUN Someth on 26th January 2011 at Phnom Penh Capital Hall.

In the meeting, Malaysian counterpart said they want to invest in Cambodia, especially in Phnom Penh Capital City in terms of all kinds of infrastructures. Another intention is to follow up the investment in waste water treatment in Phnom Penh which 5 Malaysia companies used to contact with and present their projects to Phnom Penh Capital Hall. It should be highlighted that the construction of waste water treatment system in Phnom Penh is really important to improve the existing waste system and the capacity to supply clean water. Furthermore, Malaysian counterpart presented technical skills of Malaysian company which are being well-known and supported at international level and can be afforded. Because Phnom Penh is the heart of the Kingdom of Cambodia and being developed in all fields, Malaysian Chamber of Commerce hopes to glue to cooperation between Malaysia and Cambodia in terms of sustainable investment in the future.

In response, Mr. NOUN Someth, on behalf of H.E Governor, expressed red-carpet welcome and thanks Malaysia for supporting Phnom Penh, and for the cooperation to be successful in the future, each Malaysian company shall contact with Phnom Penh Capital Hall through official letters.
